1978 Hot Buttered twin fin

I'm very grateful for the email I got from Melbourne from the original owner of this Hot Buttered twin fin. He tells me that he bought the board from Terry Fitzgerald in 1978. I'm told it may have been shaped by the master Ronnie Woodward it looks way too good to have been done by Terry. Ronnie made Derek Hynd's twin fins.

The poor little thing hadn't touched the water in 20 years! 

I immediately set about making the situation right again.

I don't know why you would drill holes in the fins. Perhaps to hang it on the wall.

This board is a wall hanger no longer.

The off centre fade spray was obviously a bit of a theme at HB at the time as demonstrated by these pics of Gavin's single fin from the same era.
